Brickstuff 4-Channel Infrared Control Module with Sensor and Adhesive Squares - TRUNK05-B

This module requires at least one Brickstuff Infrared Remote Control Unit.

This module combines the best of our lighting effect controllers with robust remote control.  When used with our IR remote control (sold separately), this module allows independent control of four output channels, two of which can be dimmed or set to flicker.  This single module can control hundreds of lights, so you can use it in your largest installations.

This module puts the power of control in your hand.  With it, you can control hundreds of lights across four channels in even the largest lighting installation.

Two of the output channels (OUT1 and OUT4 on the receiver) are "on/off" only-- you can use our IR remote to turn any lights connected to these channels on and off remotely.

The other two output channels (OUT2 and OUT3) can be set to on/off or flicker mode.  This is a great way to add flickering light to your city's street lamps while also being able to control all of them with a single button.  When in on/off mode, you can manually dim the lighting output, meaning you can achieve new levels of lighting realism in your builds instead of having "much too bright" LED light.  When set to flicker, you can adjust the intensity of the flicker effect, so you can have a pile of smoldering embers or a roaring fire.

Best of all, no physical access is needed to the receiver after you've connected the power, included IR receiver unit (supplied with a 12" cable and sticky square for mounting), and outputs.  You control everything from the IR remote.  Even better, all settings (including which ports are on/off/flickering/dimmed) are maintained even when power to the module is off.

There are unlimited uses for this highly flexible module.  Here's one of our favorites:

• Output Channel 1 (OUT1): Connect to all first-floor lighting in an entire LEGO City setup. (1-200 LEDs)
• Output Channel 2 (OUT2): Set to dim, and connect to every lamp post in your LEGO City setup. (1-200 LEDs)
• Output Channel 3 (OUT3): Set to flicker, and connect to every fireplace and campfire in your LEGO City setup.  (1-200 LEDs)
• Output Channel 4 (OUT4): Connect to all upper-floor lighting in your entire LEGO City setup (chandeliers inside stores, lamps inside apartments, etc.).  (1-200 LEDs)

Now you have full control of your city, and can create stunning scenes remotely.  You really can connect every Brickstuff LED in a large LEGO City to this single remote unit and manage it all from the palm of your hand.

Want more than four channels of control?  Simply install and configure multiple IR receiver modules throughout your city or build, but position the IR receivers so they point downward or so they require the IR remote to be pointed directly at them in order to receive a signal.  This way, you can use a single IR remote to control multiple receivers all over your city or build by walking close to the section you want to control and aiming the remote directly at the receiver sensor.
